Cookie Policy
We demand transparency from suppliers, so we apply it to ourselves first — including here. This site is deliberately light: no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics running by default.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data on your device without sending it to a server on every request.
2. What this site actually uses
Strictly functional storage
One value, stored in your browser's local storage:
caerus-consent— remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so the banner does not reappear on every page. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. It persists until you clear your browser data.
Third-party fonts
Pages load the Hanken Grotesk and Space Mono typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these font files, Google receives standard technical data such as your IP address. Google states that the Fonts API does not set cookies. If a self-hosted font setup is preferred, it can replace this at any time.
Optional analytics — currently none
We do not run analytics today. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future, it will be activated only for visitors who chose Accept in the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated first.
3. Your choice
The banner shown on your first visit offers Accept and Decline. Declining does not limit the site in any way — every page works identically. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
All major browsers let you view, delete and block cookies and site data per site, in their privacy or site-settings section. Blocking functional storage for this site simply means the banner will ask again on your next visit.
